These are two items from my concentration. The first is supposed to convey sadness/loneliness and the second is supposed to convey stress/anguish. Please tell me what you think! Don't worry, happier emotions will follow.

ReplyDeleteWe think that the colors behind the drawings are fantastic. They make the images POP. The figures convey their messages quite well.
We also think that there is a lot of negative space surrounding the figures. They also look flat and kinda floating. We think that they could be jazzed up a little more?

ReplyDeletethe red background was like 70% reason why I wanted to paint your sketch. like they said its pop. (like my bestfriend andy warhol). I really love the sketch and the simple use of colors. the black and white make it look more outstanding. simples colors fit better than making huge mess with different colors. really like the body figure as well. that was the part I couldn't copy. its so nicely sketched and the angle was very confusing for me. Love the lips and the eyes, the one with the red background. I think you should highlight them with solid colors. i tried pink for lips and light blue for eyes. lips came out well but the eyes didn't come out well I think. you should try with different colors.
it was really such a good time to paint your art and hope my work helped you little bit for your concentration too!
