this is my first illustration of Tam Lin. I'm trying to decide what to do with the background. I'm considering cutting it out and pasting it onto a black background. Any ideas?
This picture tells me that i need to repaint my nails. thank you.
but i really like this and the shadows on the bod. And i think you should put it on the black paper but make sure they mesh together and the pencil drawing doesnt look like it's popping off the paper
I love to look at your pieces because you have an innate talent for drawing the human body. I really like this picture because of the woman's form. You definitely got all of her proportions right. I think that the pencil work for shading is gorgeous as well as the way her arms are posed. Maybe you could add a little more in the background, like the upper right corner. Overall, this looks really great
This image if very graceful and I think that a background will be an important choice/decision. Black maybe to strong but maybe if it was done in a medium that ebbed and flowed , meandered from light to dark in some way......? Lets look at it tomorrow.
