Found a picture of my parents when they were in honeymoon. Found the picture very interesting and wanted to express it in different colors. purple shows my dad's relaxed and very calm characteristic and orage represents my mom's passionate and benevolent characteristic.
I connected mom and dad with green colored square to make the painting look more interesting and contrasty.
Strong use of color to represent your parents. Consider the green patch a bit more though. I am excited to see you working from people you know and have a connection to. It will make a much stronger body of work.
ReplyDeleteThe blocks of color over the strong black lines are very captivating. I like how the colors aren't separate for your mom and for your dad--they cover both of them, connecting them in a really sweet way.
